Fatal Bucks County Crash Under Investigation
The name of the driver has yet to be released, but alcohol is believed to have played a role in the crash, police say.
FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — A fatal weekend crash in Bucks County is currently under investigation, authorities said.
At around 10 p.m. on Saturday, Falls Township police responded to a two-vehicle traffic accident on the 800 block of Trenton Road in Fairless Hills, police said.
An initial accident investigation found that a male motorist driving on Trenton Road toward North Oxford Valley Road without his headlights activated struck a vehicle which was in the process of backing into a driveway, police said.

The driver of the striking vehicle was unresponsive and was transported to Jefferson Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The male operator of the struck vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police believe alcohol was used by the driver of the striking vehicle prior to the crash.
Identification of the driver is pending family notification.
