Firefighters In Falls Battle Car Blaze

Fire crews were called to the blaze at 2:42 a.m. on Thursday.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Firefighters in Falls Towship spent the early-morning hours on Thursday battling a blaze after a car caught fire.

Fire crews were called at 2:42 a.m. to Chandler Drive in the Pennwood Crossing subdivision. There, they found a car's engine compartment well on fire, burning the home next to it.

According to the Falls Township Fire Marshal, crews were able to contain the fire to the car. There was some minor damage to the home's siding, but it remained habitable, according to the fire marshal.

The residents were at home and discovered the fire when the car's alarm went off. There were no injuries to the residents or firefighters.

Falls was assisted by Levittown #1 Fire Co., Fairless Hills Fire Department and Morrisville Fire Co.
