LANGHORNE, PA — Area residents concerned someone in their life could overdose on opioids may get free Narcan, the overdose-fighting drug, at an upcoming event in Langhorne.

The community session is scheduled from 7-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, at Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Langhorne. The hospital is located at 380 North Oxford Valley Rd. The session will be held in Conference Room A.

During the session, attendees will learn about the signs and symptoms of an overdose, resources that are available in the community and how to use Narcan.

The session also will instruct attendees about rescue breathing and family preparedness in the event of an opioid overdose.

One unit of Narcan per household will be given out free. Space is limited for the event. To register, contact Mallory Perrotti at mperrotti@buckscounty.org or 215-444-2785.
