'Hero Parade' Scheduled At Lower Bucks Hospital

The parade, of Bucks County fire, police and EMS units, is to thank healthcare workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

BRISTOL, PA — A quick "hero parade" is scheduled for next Tuesday at Lower Bucks Hospital to thank healthcare workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

The parade, set for 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, will feature local police, fire and EMS units from Bristol. They will conduct a procession around the hospital, at 501 Bath Rd., in honor of healthcare workers.

All vehicles will display their emergency lights and sirens as they approach the hospital "in a show of support and gratitude for the endless hours and sacrifices these heroes have made in response to the COVID-19 pandemic," organizers said.

The parade is expected to last about 15 minutes.
