I-95, I-295 Lane Closures For Bridge Beam Repair In Bucks Co.: PennDOT

High-priority repairs on 13 structures on I-95 and I-295 will result in lane closures in Bristol and Middletown townships.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced a series of lane closures that will be held in Bristol and Middletown Townships next week for bridge construction.

Lane closures are scheduled on northbound and/or southbound I-95 and eastbound and/or westbound I-295 between the Route 413 in Bristol Township and Business U.S. 1/Route 413 in the Penndel/Levittown area. The first closures will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday and 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Wednesday to Friday.

Repairs to the 13 structures include replacing rocker bearings, frozen sliding plate bearings, and deck expansion joints; cleaning and painting steel beams; repairing substructure concrete, and reconstructing bearing pedestals.
