Langhorne Borough Swearing In New Police Chief
Kevin Burns brings over 37 years of law enforcement experience to the post, borough officials said.

LANGHORNE BOROUGH, PA — The borough is expected to hold a public swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday for its new police chief.
The Langhorne Borough Council said that Burns brings over 37 years of law enforcement experience to the post as the borough's top law enforcement officer.
"His community-oriented approach to policing and the knowledge and expertise he has honed over a long and fruitful career will be invaluable to the borough," officials said. "We are pleased to welcome him to his new role."

Burns has served as a part-time patrol officer in the borough since 2021, responding to calls and overseeing borough events, officials said.
He has recently served as a school police officer and supervisor of security and safety for the Centennial School District.

Burns joined the Centennial School District as security supervisor in August 2023, replacing a former police chief to oversee the district's security operations.
Burns had served in a similar capacity in the Neshaminy School District from 2019 to 2022.
