Levittown Woman Charged After Police Chase In Lower Makefield

The driver was charged following a police chase that saw her drive into a police vehicle in an attempt to evade arrest, authorities said.

LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA - A Levittown woman was charged Wednesday following a police chase that saw her drive into a police vehicle in an attempt to evade arrest, authorities said.

The 38-year-old driver fled a motor vehicle stop near Big Oak & Oxford Valley Roads at around 10:24 a.m. regarding a stolen vehicle, Lower Makefield police said.

After the woman was taken into police custody, a records check revealed she was wanted out of Bucks County, Falls Township, and Cinnaminson Township, police said. She was also found to be in possession of aethamphetamine.

The Levittown resident was charged with fleeing/eluding police, receiving stolen property, possession of methamphetamine and related charges.

She was arraigned and sent to BCCF in lieu of $85,000/10% bail. A 42-year-old male passenger from Philadelphia had a warrant out of Bucks County. He was taken into police custody and turned over to the Bucks County Sheriffs, police said.
