The new Montgomery County location would make five MaGerk's in Pennsylvania.

MaGerk’s has locations in Horsham Township, Fort Washington, and Lionville in Pennsylvania. Other locations are in Baltimore, and at Elon University in North Carolina.

The pub is known for serving “the best cheesesteak outside of Philadelphia.”

The Philly-inspired restaurant is known for its signature cheesesteak sandwiches, which are served on bakery-fresh rolls with a crusty outside and a soft center, according to its website.

Its Horsham Township location hosts numerous shows by Philadelphia sports radio station WIP.
In addition to its signature cheesesteak sandwiches, jumbo crab pretzels, and famous tempura pickles, the pub’s menu is packed with mouthwatering appetizers, soups and salads, fries and rings, nachos, wings, entrees, sandwiches and burgers, and MaGerk’s famous Mac-N-Cheese (your choice of loaded, Buffalo or short rib). Established in 2000 by John and Paul Dolaway, the first MaGerk’s Pub opened its doors at the corner of Charles Street and Cross Street in Baltimore’s Federal Hill neighborhood. The pub and eatery gets its name from John Dolaways' three daughters. He took the first initials from their first and middle names and arranged them to get MaGerk(s).
