Man Broke Into Pennsbury School Warehouse, Stole Van: PD

A New Jersey man is in custody for the crime in which damaged was caused to the Falls Township warehouse as well, police said.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — A New Jersey man is awaiting extradition on burglary charges for allegedly stealing a van from the warehouse of the Pennsbury School District on Sunday, police said.

Sean A. Bower, 33, of Runnemede, N.J., has been charged with burglary, criminal trespass, and criminal mischief, the Falls Township Police Department said. He is currently in custody in New Jersey, awaiting extradition.

Falls Township Police responded at 9:36 a.m. Sunday to the Pennsbury School District warehouse at 9 Cabot Boulevard East in the township's Langhorne section for the report of a burglary, a criminal complaint states.

Police said a school GMC van had been stolen from inside the warehouse. Police also found thousands of dollars worth of damage had been done inside the warehouse, the court affidavit said.

The next day, New Jersey State Police pulled Bower over for a cracked windshield and for failing to maintain his lane of travel in Wall Township, N.J.

Police said they believed Bower was driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and that Bower had several warrants out of New Jersey.

After being taken into custody, Bower told police that he broke into the warehouse by smashing a window, the criminal complaint states. He also admitted to causing damage to various laptops, computers, and a forklift while inside the warehouse, police said.

Police said that Bower was never authorized to be inside the school district warehouse, the complaint stated.
