Man Critically Injured In Bristol Twp. Fire

Bristol Township fire crews responded to a fire early Friday morning in the Orangewood Park apartment complex.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A man was critically injured in an apartment fire early Friday morning, authorities said.

Bristol Township Fire Marshall Kevin Dippolito said fire crews responded to an apartment in Orangewood Park on Thomas Place just after 1:30 a.m. on Friday in the township's Levittown section.

Dippolito said that one person was taken to a nearby hospital for burns. He said the fire started in a trash can inside the kitchen.

A 69-year-old man was listed in critical condition after suffering severe burns, NBC 10 Philadelphia reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Bristol Township Fire Marshal's Office.
