Man Dies Of Heroin Overdose In Penndel: Police

Penndel Borough Police say officers were called with an EMS crew to a home on Sunday.

PENNDEL, PA — Police in Penndel say a man was found dead from a suspected heroin overdose over the weekend.

On Sunday, Penndel Borough Police officers accompanied an emergency medical crew to a call of an unconscious person on Monroe Avenue. There, police said, they found a man dead on the second floor of the house.

While searching the room, officers found a substance believed to be heroin in the man's wallet, according to police.
