Man Killed After Car Falls On Him In Bristol Township

A man in Bristol Township was killed Monday night after the car he was working on fell on top of him.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A man in Bristol Township was killed Monday evening when the car he was working on fell on top of him.

Police and rescue crews were called at 6:53 p.m. to a home on the 4600 block of Newportville Road, where a car had fallen on a man who was working on it.

Officers learned that the 28-year-old man had been underneath the car in his driveway when the jack failed and it fell, said Bristol Township Police Lt. Ralph Johnson. Police were not publicly identifying the man Tuesday morning.

Emergency crews from local fire companies responded, but were unable to revive the man after he was pulled from beneath the car.
