Man Killed In Crash On West Trenton Avenue

Falls Township Police said a 20-year-old New Jersey man died from his injuries after being thrown from his bike on Wednesday night.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — A 20-year-old New Jersey man was killed on Wednesday after his street bike collided with an SUV, police said.

The Falls Township Police Department is investigating the fatal traffic accident that happened at 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of West Trenton Avenue and Pine Grove Road in Morrisville.

A preliminary investigation determined that a 21-year-old Morrisville woman driving a Ford Explorer made a left turn from West Trenton Avenue onto Pine Grove Road when a Kawasaki street bike, driven by a 20-year-old Bordentown, N.J., man, traveling in the opposite direction on West Trenton Avenue, struck the SUV.

The man was ejected from the motorcycle after which he sustained critical injuries, police said. He was transported to Capital Health in Trenton, where he died of his injuries.

Police said the driver of the Ford Explorer was not injured.

The preliminary investigation does not indicate that alcohol or any controlled substances were involved in the crash.
