Man Shot Outside Wawa In Bristol Twp., In Critical Condition

Bristol Township Police said the man was shot in the parking lot of the Wawa on Bristol Oxford Valley Road on Thursday night.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A man is in critical condition after being shot in the parking lot of a Wawa late Thursday night.

The Bristol Township Police Department is investigating the shooting that took place at 11:53 p.m. Thursday in the parking lot of the Wawa at 3800 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown.

Police said the man was taken to St. Mary Medical Center, and then flown to Penn Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia. His is listed as critical condition.

Police said the shooting may have stemmed from a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical fight where one of the people involved then shot the man.

The shooter remained on the scene and has been cooperating with police.

The investigation is still active and no charges have been filed at this time. There is no danger to the community.
