Man Killed After Leaving Crashed Car On Route 1 In Falls Twp.: PD
Falls Township Police said a Trenton, N.J., man left his car and was struck on the highway early Tuesday morning.
FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — A man was struck and killed after leaving his car following a crash on northbound Route 1 early Tuesday morning, police said.
The Falls Township Police Department responded at 2:25 a.m. to the crash on Route 1, just north of the US Route 13 overpass.
Police said a black Cadillac lost control at the overpass, struck the concrete lane divider, and came to a final resting position in the middle of the highway. The passenger exited and went to the right shoulder for safety.

The driver, a 38-year-old Trenton, N.J., man, was struck while outside of the car by a Lexus ES3 (sedan) driven by a 30-year-old Trenton, N.J, resident.
The man suffered critical injuries and was taken to Capitol Health Trenton, where he later died, police said.

The Lexus driver did not seek medical treatment. The passenger of the Cadillac was treated for some minor injuries.
It is not known at this time if alcohol or drugs factored into this crash, police said.
