Mask Usage Monitored At Lower Bucks Hospital
The Bristol Township-based hospital is monitoring rising COVID, flu, and RSV cases in the region.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —With rising COVID-19, RSV, and flu cases in the region, some hospitals have taken action to require masks to be worn.
While Lower Bucks Hospital hasn't taken that step, hospital officials said they are monitoring the situation.
"Lower Bucks Hospital remains committed to the health and safety of our community. The safety of our community, patients, employees, and physicians remains our highest priority," Hospital spokeswoman Michelle Aliprantis said.

Aliprantis said the hospital is currently monitoring closely any respiratory cases while maintaining the safety of our patients and staff.
Adjustments will be made as necessary in accordance with CDC protocols, she said.

However, with the low number of respiratory cases, the hospital is not requiring masking at this time.
All patients, employees, and visitors at all Main Line Health facilities are required to wear masks in clinical and common areas. A two-week mandate for masks was issued last week, the healthcare group said.
Main Line Health's facilities include Bryn Mawr Hospital, Lankenau Medical Center, Riddle Hospital, and Paoli Hospital.
Penn Medicine is also requiring masks in certain departments at all hospital facilities.
