Middletown To Live-Stream Supervisors Meetings Online
Residents watching from home will be able to interact with supervisors via the Facebook Live stream, officials said.
LANGHORNE, PA — Starting Monday, residents of Middletown Township will be able to watch, and interact with, their elected official in real time online.
The township's board of supervisors will stream its 7 p.m. meeting on Monday to Facebook Live. Residents watching remotely will be able to engage with supervisors from their homes through the live feed, officials said.
Middletown officials said the live stream is an effort to protect citizen engagement amid public gathering limitations in place due to the spread of the new coronavirus.

"This is an important next step toward making government accessible to the community," said Middletown Township Board of Supervisors Chairman Mike Ksiazek. "Especially as critical situations like the coronavirus are evolving by the hour, the ability to communicate in real time with the public matters now more than ever."
The live stream will be available on the Middletown Township, Bucks County, PA Facebook page.
Viewers are encouraged to post comments to the video during the meeting. Staff will be prepared to feed questions to supervisors during the meeting. Residents also are encouraged to send questions before the meeting to township Manager Stephanie Teoli Kuhls at steoli@middletownbucks.org.
