Middletown Twp. Crash Leaves Yardley Man Seriously Injured
The 48-year-old driver struck another car on 1-295, causing his car to roll off of an embankment and into a tree.
MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A Yardley man was injured in a car crash that occurred on I-295 in Middletown Township on Friday, April 1.
According to police, the crash occurred on I-295 westbound near the East Lincoln Highway overpass around 2:30 p.m.
A 48-year-old man from Yardley was traveling on the road when he reportedly struck another car as traffic came to a stop.

After he made contact with the car, a Chrysler, his 2002 Volvo went off the roadway and into an embankment before striking a tree.
The man was removed from his car by members of the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad. He sustained injuries as a result of the crash.

Local law enforcement is looking to charge the man with unsafe driving.
