Neshaminy Creek Forecasted To Flood Thursday
The National Weather Service said heavy rainfall Wednesday is expected to push the Neshaminy Creek into flood levels on Thursday.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —The Neshaminy Creek —which has experienced some flooding from storms over the past few months —is projected to flood again.
The National Weather Service at Mount Holly said Wednesday that the Neshaminy Creek at Langhorne in Middletown Township is expected to hit "minor" flood levels sometime Thursday morning, according to the Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service.
The weather service said the creek is expected to enter "minor flood stage" levels at 9 feet around just after midnight Thursday before rising to 10.4 feet early morning before falling back into the minor and action stages and then receding.

The last time the creek crested at 10.4 feet was on March 22, 1999.
As of Wednesday afternoon, the Neshaminy Creek stood at 6.6 feet.

Forecasters are predicting two to three inches of additional rain from a storm Wednesday, with the area expected to experience flooding.
The National Weather Service of Philadelphia/Mount Holly has issued a flood watch for the entire region through Thursday.
Forecasters say that at 7 feet, water begins to overflow the lowest banks, on both sides of the creek, into adjacent wooded areas.
At 9 feet, flooding begins on Bridle Drive in Middletown Township.
At 10.5 feet, flooding begins at Route 413, near Bridgeton Pike in Middletown Township, with the road subject to closures due to flooding.
