A message on Neshaminy's website said more details would be released later Thursday.

This week, the district already had called off a senior citizens dance and regional orchestra event planned at Neshaminy High School.

The high school had been closed Tuesday at the request of the Bucks County Health Department after a student came into contact with a doctor who has the new coronavirus, or COVID-19.

Though the student had showed no signs of the virus, that student and two family members have been asked to voluntarily quarantine after coming into contact with the doctor, a cardiologist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's facility in King of Prussia.
