CROYDON, PA — Wawa lovers will have a new location to frequent in Bristol's Croydon section starting on Thursday.

To celebrate, the new Wawa will be offering free coffee all day on Thursday. Wawa officials will be on hand for the ribbon cutting, along with Wally Goose, the chain's mascot.

"At Wawa, we recognize that our customers lives move at a rapid pace, and whenever we open new stores, it is our goal to deliver our unique brand of convenience in a way that fits our customers busy lives and is attuned to their specific tastes," said Dave Simonetti, Wawa's senior director of store operations.
Bristol Township supervisors approved the new store, on what was previously heavy manufacturing property, in 2017. At the time, some nearby residents and business owners complained about increased traffic and other concerns at the site.
