NJ Man Accused Of Assaulting Bucks Paramedic Over Mask

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Falls Township police responded to a report of an assault at Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Langhorne on Monday, Feb. 21.

Police charged Jeffrey Don Ho Choi, 42, of Fort Lee, New Jersey after a paramedic at the hospital said Choi had grabbed his throat after he asked Choi to put a mask on.

According to police, another medic and other staff members of the hospital had secured Choi before police arrived.

On Tuesday morning, Choi was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned by Judge Wertman and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of 10% of $100,000 bail.

Authorities have not said what Choi was at the hospital for.
