Overnight Fire In Bristol Ruled Arson

Firefighters were called to the house fire at 1:48 a.m. on Thursday.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — An overnight house fire in Bristol Township has been ruled an arson, emergency officials said Thursday.

Firefighters were dispatched at 1:48 a.m. Thursday to reports of a fire in the 2800 block of Old Rodgers Road. According to Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito, the home there has been vacant for more than four years.

Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control and, after investigating, Dippolito ruled that it had been set intentionally. No one was injured in the fire, Dippolito said.
