LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Oxford Valley Pool is currently out of commission — because it can't hold water.

The Bucks County Parks and Recreation Department provided an update on the pool on Monday, saying that a leak is preventing the pool's usage so far this spring.

"We know many of you are eager for the pool to open, and we appreciate your patience," officials said. "Unfortunately, the pool is currently unable to hold water, and the exact source of the leak has not yet been identified. Our team is working diligently alongside multiple contractors and county staff to resolve the issue as quickly as possible."

Several Lower Bucks County residents have asked Bucks County Parks and Recreation when the leak was first discovered at the pool, which is located in Fairless Hills.

Officials said that each year, the pool is winterized and remains empty until mid-May.

When the pool was filled, the leak was discovered and repairs began immediately to fix it, officials said.

Officials said that they've received concerns about membership costs and that fees will be adjusted accordingly once the pool reopens.

"We recognize how important this pool is to the community," officials said. "We are doing everything possible to get it ready for you."
