Pair Sought In Strange Bristol Ring-Theft Attempt
The incident happened in the Selecto Market parking lot on Pond Street, according to police.

BRISTOL, PA — Police in Bristol Borough are looking or a man and woman they say were involved in a strange incident that appears to have been a theft attempt.
The incident happened Thursday in the parking lot of Selecto Market on Pond Street, according to Bristol Borough Police.
They say a man had just left the market when he was approached by two people in a blue Ford Explorer. A woman in the Explorer called the man over and started talking to him about the rings he was wearing, police say.

She then tried to put a ring on the man's finger. As she did, police say, the man felt she was actually trying to pull one of his rings off of his finger. The man then walked away and left the parking lot.
Video surveillance showed the pair later approach another customer, police said.

They describe the woman as Hispanic and heavy set, with brown hair and some missing teeth, saying she spoke with "very broken English." The man is described as in his mid-20s, with a thin build, dark hair and a trimmed beard.
