Pedestrian Injured After Struck By Car In Falls Twp.

Falls Township Police said the crash happened early Tuesday morning on Trenton Road.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — A pedestrian suffered minor injuries after being struck by a car while walking across Trenton Road in the crosswalk early Tuesday morning.

The Falls Township Police Department is investigating the crash that happened at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday when a 17-year-old male Fairless Hills resident was driving a Saturn SUV while stopped on Trenton Road for a red traffic signal.

Police said that when the light changed, he turned left onto South Oxford Valley Road, striking a 39-year-old Fairless Hills resident who was walking across Trenton Road.

The woman suffered minor injuries and was being treated at Saint Mary Medical Center.

Police said that alcohol, drugs, or a medical emergency did not factor into the accident.
