Levittown Man Shot, Killed Neighbor’s Dog: Police
According to police, the man was walking his dog when the other dog escaped from his neighbor's yard and attacked.
LEVITTOWN, PA — A Levittown man shot and killed his neighbor's dog after it attacked his dog on Friday, police said.
The incident occurred in the Magnolia Hill Section of Levittown on Midwood Lane on Friday around 9:30 a.m.
Police found the white American Bulldog lying in front of the neighbor's home, dead from a gunshot wound. Police interviewed the neighbor to determine what had happened.

According to the neighbor, he was walking his dog, a German Shepherd, past his neighbor’s home when the other dog escaped from the yard and attacked his dog. The man, who had a license to carry a firearm, pulled out his revolver and shot at the dog once.
While neighbors were being interviewed, police began collecting evidence from the scene. The District Attorney’s Office was notified, police said, and will review all the evidence and reports before filing any charges.

A similar incident occurred in Bensalem back in May, where a man shot a pitbull that attacked his dog at the Red Roof Inn off Street Road.
