Police ID Victims In Deadly Tullytown Crash

The crash, which involved five vehicles, happened last Thursday on Rt. 13 near Fallsington Avenue. Two men were killed.

TULLYTOWN, PA — Police have identified the two victims of a deadly car crash in Tullytown last week.

The crash happened at about 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, on Rt. 13 near Fallsington Avenue in Tullytown.

According to Tullytown Police Chief Daniel Doyle, Anthony Ortiz, 20, of the Croydon section of Bristol Township, was speeding in a Honda when it crashed into several other vehicles that were stopped at a red light. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Also killed in the crash was Jermaine Jenkins, 44, of Tullytown, who was driving one of the four vehicles that were stopped at the light and involved in the crash.

According to his obituary, memorial services for Jenkins will be held Friday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, at 2999 Klockner Rd. in Trenton. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10-11 a.m. Internment will be private.

Services for Ortiz were held Wednesday at Rodriguez Funeral Home in Philadelphia.

Doyle said Ortiz was at fault in the crash, but that it remains under investigation.
