Police Warn Of Traffic Around Ex-Congressman's Memorials
In Middletown Township, viewings for former U.S. Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick, who died Monday, will be held Thursday evening and Friday morning.
MIDDLETOWN, PA — Police in Middletown Township are alerting motorists to be prepared for heavy traffic as locals gather to honor the life of Bucks County's former congressman.
Viewings for former U.S. Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick are scheduled for 4-9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, and from 10 a.m.-noon on Friday, Jan. 10. They'll be at Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, at 2443 Trenton Rd.
Fitzpatrick died Monday at age 56 after a battle with melanoma.

Middletown Police say there's sure to be heavy traffic on Trenton Road in the area of the church both days, as well as lots of pedestrians walking along the roadway to get to the church, due to limited parking.
They are urging motorists to avoid the area during those times if they can, or to be aware of possible delays.
