Bristol Township Police said the shooting took place after a crash on New Falls Road on Tuesday afternoon.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — Bristol Township Police are investigating a shooting incident following a crash on New Falls Road on Tuesday afternoon that may have stemmed from a road rage incident.

Police responded to New Falls Road near Indian Creek Entry for the report of an armed suspect who shot another person.

Police officers found two people at the scene of a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.

After taking statements, police said at least one shot was fired and that a gun was recovered.

No injuries were reported, and no charges have been filed at this time, police said.

Those involved in the incident have been identified. Police said a preliminary investigation leads them to believe it was a road rage incident.

Police said there is no danger to the community.
