LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has road resurfacing planned this week in two operations are planned on several state highways in Bucks and Chester counties, under multiple ongoing projects to repair and pave more than 200 miles of state highway across the Philadelphia region.

Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways including color-coded winter conditions, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
