Second-Generation Bucks Co. Officer Promoted To Detective
Falls Township promoted an officer to detective on Tuesday, a milestone that precedes two generations of service from his family.

FALLS, PA - Falls Township has gained a new detective with a familiar face this week.
Falls Township promoted Officer Ronald MacPherson to Detective Tuesday morning, a milestone that precedes two generations of service in the MacPherson family.
MacPherson is a second generation Falls Township Police Officer, having followed in the footsteps of his father, Ronald MacPherson, Falls police said in a statement.

The older MacPherson retired from the Falls Township Police Department as a Lieutenant after which he spent many years as the Police Chief of the Upper Southampton Police Department, Falls police said.
Detective MacPherson was promoted following a lengthy promotional process in which he was the highest scoring candidate.
