Middletown Township Police are seeking a trio involved in the equipment theft of The Lawn Barn.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Middletown Township Police Department is investigating a smash-grab burglary of a township business last week.

Middletown Township Police said The Lawn Barn was burglarized at 2:44 a.m. on June 11 at the lawn care business at 910 Woodbourne Road.

Police said a trio of suspects made entry by smashing through the front door and getting away with numerous chainsaws, leaf blowers, and other pieces of lawn care equipment.

The business said it is working with law enforcement and asks that the community come forward if they have any information.

The Lawn Barn is also asking any business south of the Woodbourne Train Station and north of Route 213 that has security cameras, video doorbells, or dashcams to check their footage between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. for any suspicious activity.

Video surveillance shows an older F-150 four-door pickup truck, grey/blue in color, that may have been used in the crime.

Detective Wayne George is handling the investigation. Anyone with information should contact him at wgeorge@mtpd.org.
