Spring Job Fair To Be Held At Oxford Valley Mall
RecruitmentQueen, a Bucks County-based digital job board, will host the job fair in the mall's center court at the end of March.
LANGHORNE, PA — A job fair has been scheduled to be held in the center court of Oxford Valley Mall on Tuesday, March 29.
The job fair will be hosted by RecruitmentQueen, a Bucks County-based digital job board, at the mall, located on 2300 Old Lincoln Highway in Langhorne, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
RecruitmentQueen has held job fairs at other Bucks County malls in recent months, including one at the Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem on Wednesday, Jan. 12.

The job fair will offer job seekers a chance to talk with recruiters and open the doors for new career opportunities. The organizer estimates over 300 jobs will be offered at the fair.
“The benefit to attending the job fair is to seize the opportunity to talk to the recruiters and hiring managers of employers,” said Jennifer Schultz, founder of RecruitmentQueen. “This is extremely helpful versus applying to a position online, where you don’t get a chance to sometimes understand the job opening fully.”

As of now, Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Superpac, Inc., TLC Nursing Service, Inc., Pickering Manor, Dow Jones, Regency Management Services, McHales, and Age in Place Home Care will be at the fair to talk to potential hires.
Pickering Manor alone is looking to staff 20 or more positions at its continuing care retirement community in Newtown. The assisted living facility is looking to fill patient care positions such as nurses, CNAs, personal care aides, as well as cooks, housekeepers, and dietary aides.
According to Human Resources Director Ellen Huber, Pickering Manor is also recruiting for its 24-bed memory care unit, which is expected to open sometime in April.
In preparation for the unit’s opening, all staff members are undergoing dementia training, with the goal of being the first in the nation to have all staff fully trained in dementia care. The pandemic has made the hiring of licensed staff difficult, Huber said.
“A lot of training programs were shut down,” she said. “Even in tech schools, they couldn’t graduate with their CNA.”
Job seekers will have the opportunity to ask questions to Pickering Manor representatives, as well as other employers during the three-hour fair.
Job seekers should bring several copies of their resume and dress appropriately.
