St. Patrick's Day Celebration Starting At Sesame Place

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Elmo’s Eggstravaganza is back at Sesame Place Philadelphia.

The Middletown Township amusement park is kicking off its St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Saturday. There will also be Easter and Passover festivities celebrating 45 years of furry fun.

Elmo’s Eggstravaganza on March 29, ensuring a season packed with festive fun.

From March 15 through March 23, the park will celebrate the new St. Patrick’s Day-inspired fun with clovers, Irish music, and more.

Highlights of the new St. Patrick’s Day Celebration include:

• Furry Friends St. Patrick’s Day Dance Party, where guests can dance a jig to fun and energetic tunes along with their favorite Sesame Street friends
• Irish Dancing Shows by the Rince Ri School of Irish Dance at Sesame Studio
• Grover’s Clover Scavenger Hunt, a St. Patrick’s Day-themed scavenger hunt around the park
• St. Patrick’s Day Dine with Elmo & Friends, featuring photos with everyone’s favorite furry friends in their festive green St. Patrick’s Day attire and scrumptious St. Patrick’s Day-inspired treats

During the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, guests can also enjoy Sesame Street-themed attractions and rides, the Sesame Street Mardi Gras Parade, “Elmo the Musical – Live!,” and Cookie & Gonger’s Pizza Party.

Hop into spring with Elmo’s Eggstravaganza—an egg-stra special Easter celebration packed with egg-citing activities!

Following the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, Sesame Place Philadelphia invites guests to a hoppin’ good time with Elmo’s Eggstravaganza, an Easter celebration.

From Saturday, March 29 through Monday, April 21 – including a full week of fun during Spring Break – the park will celebrate Easter fun with everyone’s favorite furry friends. Season Pass Members will receive exclusive hours for Elmo’s Eggstravaganza on Friday, April 4 from 4p.m. – 8 p.m.

Highlights of Elmo’s Eggstravaganza include:

• Easter Bunny Picture Patch, where guests can meet the one and only Easter Bunny in an immersive Meet & Greet experience
• Easter Dine with Elmo & Friends, featuring photos with everyone’s favorite friends and the Easter Bunny
• Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt, an interactive adventure throughout the park to find six giant Easter Eggs
• Furry Friends Bunny Hop Dance Party, where guests can move, groove, and hop along to cheerful tunes with their favorite furry friends
• Donut Decorating with Cookie Monster, where guests can decorate delicious donuts and snap photos with Cookie Monster in his adorable Easter attire

In addition, from April 18 to 20, Sesame Place will celebrate Passover with a Passover Event, including a presentation and sing-along led by a local cantor. Guests can also enjoy a Passover Storytime and meet the cuddly Baby Bear!

This year, Sesame Place Philadelphia is celebrating 45 years of furry fun during its 45th Birthday Celebration! Beginning April 26, guests can look forward to birthday-themed entertainment and festivities daily, including the spectacular new Sesame Street Birthday Parade, showstopping décor, and even more furry fun to be announced soon!
