Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Ms. Dukes has always gone above and beyond. My son was born with Treacher Collins Syndrome. She was a main reason of why he did SO well in elementary school. He has to miss lots of school because of surgeries/appts etc. and traveling back and forth to CHOP in Philadelphia - and as soon as he's back she always went the extra mile to confirm he got caught up and would spend the time coming to our home AFTER school hours to tutor him for all 6 years he was in elementary school. We wouldn't have made it through elementary without her. She cares SO deeply for her students and she is one of a kind!! Ms. Dukes deserves all the recognition in the world for how outstanding of a teacher she is! We will never be able to thank her enough for always caring for ALL her students like they are her own child!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She cares SO much about her students that she makes it her life goal to make sure ALL of her students are always taken care of and loved in the classroom. She lets them all shine in their own way!
