Teen Charged For Vehicle Thefts In Middletown Twp.
Middletown Township Police said the male teenager fled from police and was caught in the woods early Tuesday morning.
MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A teenager is in custody for a series of vehicle thefts in a township neighborhood in which other suspects may be involved, police said.
Middletown Township Police responded early Tuesday morning to a suspicious person call on Apple Valley Drive after reports of someone going through vehicles.
Police found a person matching the description on Flint Road. The suspect fled on foot after being confronted by police through a wooded area before being taken into custody in the backyard of a Flint Road home after a brief pursuit and struggle.

Police said the teenage suspect lives locally and was connected to previous vehicle thefts in the same neighborhood, including a stolen vehicle recently recovered on Styer Road. During that theft, the suspect was on a phone call with another man.
The juvenile was transported to the Bucks County Youth Center in Doylestown pending further proceedings.
