Police said a blue 2025 Tesla Model Y was keyed by a man later identified as Kurysko while it was parked at LA Fitness the day before.

Surveillance footage showed Kurysko exiting his silver Lexus, walking past the Tesla, in which he holds a key in his left hand and presses it to the Tesla, scratching the passenger front door, police said.

Police said he then entered LA Fitness and scanned his membership card into their badge scanner.

After identifying Kurysko, police called him, and he admitted driving his Lexus to LA Fitness at the time of the incident.

But police said he denied knowingly scratching the victim's Tesla.

The insurance adjuster's estimate of the damage is $588.83.

Police did not say whether the vandalism was politically motivated in the wake of Tesla owner Elon Musk's involvement in DOGE and making cuts to the federal government.

There have been protests at Tesla's dealership in Warminster and vandalism of Teslas in Newtown and Doylestown.
