Several rounds of storms are slated to hit the state Friday and into the weekend. Here's the latest.
PENNSYLVANIA - Enjoy the dry (albeit cloudy) weather while you can: several rounds of thunderstorms and fierce winds are slated to hit southeast Pennsylvania Friday and into the weekend, forecasters say.
Friday will first see a chance of showers between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., then a chance of thunderstorms after 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Showers will be interrupted by some periods of sun, heating up the region to around 90 degrees, the agency added.
Friday’s storms also aren’t expected to be severe, the National Weather Service said in a forecast discussion. Instead, residents’ main concern should be strong winds.
