Thunderstorms, Showers In PA Wednesday Forecast
Some areas of Pennsylvania are in for scattered showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday, forecasters say. Here's the latest.
PENNSYLVANIA - Parts of Southeast Pennsylvania may be in for a wet and stormy Wednesday, forecasters say.
Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are set to move into the area by the afternoon, with the highest impacts to affect counties bordering New Jersey, the National Weather Service said.
“Not everyone will see rain but expect that cloudiness will generally increase by this afternoon with some scattered showers and storms developing,” the National Weather Service said in a tweet Wednesday morning.

Any precipitation should start around 2 p.m. should taper out by about 10 p.m., forecasters said.
The silver lining? Wednesday is expected to see a high near 80 and periods of sunny skies.

Thursday and Friday are slated to continue the clear skies trend with temperatures hovering just below 90 degrees.

Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. North wind around 5 mph.
Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9 p.m., then a slight chance of showers between 9 and 10 p.m. Mostly clear, with a low around 60. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the morning.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 64. Calm wind.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 89. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67.
