Victim ID'd In Fatal Bristol Township House Fire

The Bucks County Coroner said a man died in the fire in the home in the township's Indian Creek section on Wednesday night.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — The man killed in a house fire in the Indian Creek section of the township on Wednesday night has been identified, authorities said.

Bucks County Coroner Patti Campi said that 63-year-old Frank Nugent III died in the fire. A cause of death was not given.

Firefighters from the Levittown Fire Company No. 2 arrived to find a bedroom fire out upon their arrival, with one victim found dead inside at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of Indian Creek Drive.

According to Bristol Township Deputy Fire Marshal Alex DelVecchio, a family member showed up at the home and saw smoke inside, Levittown Now reported.

DelVecchio ruled the fire accidental and caused by smoking. The man was the only person inside the home at the time of the fire.
