Woman Saved From Bristol House Fire: Police
The three-story home on Bath Street was heavily engulfed in flames when firefighters and police arrived Sunday night.
BRISTOL, PA — Firefighters rescued a woman who was trapped on the third floor of a house that caught fire Sunday night in Bristol Borough.
Firefighters and police were called at around 10 p.m. Sunday to 587 Bath St., where they found the three-story home heavily engulfed in flames. Neighbors told them someone was believed to be trapped on the third floor, according to the Bristol Borough Police Department.
Officers went inside and found the woman, whom they escorted outside. They then cleared the first and second floors to make sure no one else was inside.

The woman was turned over to EMS crews, who took her to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, police said.
Firefighters from Bristol and surrounding areas were able to put down the fire and keep it from spreading to other buildings, police said.
