2022 Holiday Luminaria Along Schuylkill Canal

UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA —A magnificent holiday light show will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday along the Schuylkill Canal, including the Locktender's House, Mont Clare.

This annual holiday event is SCA's celebration for the community to partake in one of the area's most beautiful light shows to ring in the holiday season.

Luminary candles will line the towpath from Route 29 to Lock 60, around the Lock and surrounding the Locktender's House creating a majestic light show along the waterway and greenway to get everyone in the holiday spirit.

Light refreshments will be served and holiday music will be played in Locktender's House.

Due to a conflict in Santa's busy schedule, he will not be able to attend but his elves will be dropping off some goodie bags for all the children to enjoy.

No admission fee is charged. Donations will be gladly accepted.

This is a rain or shine event, only a steady downpour of rain cancels the event at 400 Towpath Road, Mont Clare, PA 19453.
