Accident Victim Unlikely To Recover, Says Dad

16-year-old Brian Clarke was hit by a car on Wednesday night

Frank Otto of the Pottstown Mercury reports that teenager Brian Clarke is not expected to survive the injuries he sustained in a Wednesday night accident.

As Patch reported on Wednesday evening, as he was riding his bike on South Township Line Road near his home.

Following the accident, Clarke was airlifted to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with serious injuries.

His father told the Mercury that he was "non-responsive after the accident" and as of Friday evening has no brain activity.

Friends and classmates of Clarke's were speaking about him on Twitter on Friday using the hashtag #bc44.

“We’ve gotten a lot of support from friends and Brian’s coaches,” Brian Sr. told the Mercury.
