Afternoon Storm Causes Power Outages, Downed Trees
PECO estimates power will be restored by early to mid-evening

A quick-moving storm barrelled through the area just before 4:00 p.m., causing several downed limbs and leaving a few areas without electricity.
Several Limerick Patch Facebook page readers said power was out in their area, and the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety dispatch page listed several road obstructions.
Reader Kelly Morrow said power is out in Parkerford and warned people to be careful at Royte 724 and Bethel Church Road because the traffic light was out.

"Crews have been dispatched to assess the damage," Williamson said. "We have trees down, and tree limbs on wires. There was a lot of lightning, too."
