Bookmobile Stop, Toy Story in the Park Happening Today

From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library Bookmobile will visit Waltz Golf Farm and 303 W. Ridge Pike in Limerick; it will then travel on to Montgomery, Towamencin and Skippack Townships later in the day.

Beginning at 7 p.m., Spring Hollow Golf Club will host a happy hour to benefit To Love a Canine Rescue, Inc.  The evening will feature live music by Casey Alvarex, $5 martinis and $1 off draft beer.

The Methacton Community Theater’s production of The Music Man will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Perkiomen Valley Middle School East, located on Kagey Road in Collegeville.

If you’d rather enjoy the evening outdoors, Limerick Township Parks and Recreation is playing Toy Story at Limerick Community Park as part of the Movies Under the Stars series. The show begins at 8:30 p.m. The concession stand will be selling refreshments; the event is sponsored by NorthPointe Community Church.

The Kimberton Community Fair will top off another successful annual event with a fireworks display tonight at 10 p.m. at the Kimberton fairgrounds, located on Route 113; the rain date is Saturday.
