CoreFit Expanding by Leaps and Bounds

CoreFit in Royersford has expanded the gym, and will be able to hold multiple classes at once.

, has grown so popular that they are expanding again.

Liz Gilinger, said she began the business in a friend's backyard with four people, which grew into a small studio in Collegeville. CoreFit was in the Collegeville location for four months before moving into its current location in Royersford, a year and a half ago.

Gilinger said the current location allows the classes privacy, and space to grow, as well as space to do workouts outside on nice days. She added that she tries to keep workouts fresh, fun, exciting and through in some non traditional workouts in there as well.

The current expansion project will create space for Gilinger to hold multiple classes at a time, and have a dedicated space for kettle bell and the daily "CoreFit" class, and a space for hot yoga.

Gilinger said she began with kettle bells because she was looking for an exercise program that was intensive, but not strenuous. She had tried numerous other programs and when she came across kettle bells , she fell in love. She trained with Pavel Tsatsouline, the person who brought the style over to the United States.
