Deadbeat Parents Arrested in Montco Raids

Seven parents who owe $81,657.40 in unpaid child support were arrested during an overnight raid Tuesday, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said.

“This week we are celebrating Valentine’s Day, but we have no love for parents who avoid paying child support,” Sheriff Russell Bono said.

Six men and one woman were arrested, the Sheriff’s Office said.

“As always, I encourage defendants who have warrants for unpaid child support to turn themselves in, instead of being arrested at home or at work in front of family and friends,” Bono said.
