Election Day In Limerick Township: What You Need To Know Today

ROYERSFORD, PA — Tuesday is General Election day across Pennsylvania, with a historically contentious presidential race represented on our ballots, and three state races.

It's important to make sure you know where you are voting this year. Some polling places have changed due to the pandemic. If you're not sure where your polling place is, use this online tool to find out where to vote.

Polls will open today at 7 a.m. Voters can cast ballots up until 8 p.m.

Local races matter to everyone, as our representatives steer legislation and determine spending. Here is an overview of who's on your ballot:

In Royersford and Limerick, the Democratic ballot has U.S. Rep. Madeleine Dean (PA-4) running for a second term representing Pennsylvania's 4th U.S. House District. Republican Kathy Barnette is the challenger for Dean's U.S. congressional seat. Patch published a story about the District 4 race.

Democratic State Rep. Joe Ciresi, (D-146th), of Limerick, is running for reelection to represent the146th Pennsylvania House of Representatives District. Ciresi is challenged by Republican Thomas Neafcy, a Limerick Township supervisor.

In addition to a vote for President of the United States, Pennsylvania voters will select candidates in three state-level offices; Attorney General, Auditor General, and State Treasurer.
