Limerick Bank, Trappe Vet Join Forces for ‘Red Paw’

The organization helps to provide services for pets involved in residential fires and other disasters.

The Ambler Savings Bank in Limerick and the Animal Medical Center in Trappe are teaming up to collect pet supplies for Red Paw through December.

Red Paw is an emergency service that works in conjunction with the Red Cross to provide transport, shelter and veterinary care to animals involved in residential fires and other disasters.

To support the organization, Ambler Savings Bank, located at 438 W. Ridge Pike in Limerick, and the Animal Medical Center on Third Avenue in Trappe will collect items such as food, treats, litter, beds, toys, blankets and cleaning supplies for pets.

“Ambler Savings Bank understands that our furry, four-legged friends are as much a part of our family as our children,” said Erin Cohen, branch manager of Limerick’s Ambler Savings Bank. “We want to help brighten the holidays for these animals and their families until they can get back into their homes.

The collection will last through Dec. 31.
